F-22 Raptor on account of having heat seeking missiles. The Raptor could blow the TIE out of the sky without having line of sight, from a mile away, compared to the TIE Fighters where on screen they had to be like a few hundred meters at most to hit their target with their lasers.

I was thinking the same thing. Let me be more specific then. F22 is flying cover for some stealth bombers over hostile imperial land.. the F22 picks up a blip on the radar and goes hunting. (Tie Fighter was on its way to attack the bomb squad.)

Raptor. In atmosphere it outpaces the TIE, and is armed with weapons capable of destroying it. TIE has maneuverability though, but f*ck that.

Lol. Fail. 22 gets destroyed.
