Around the 1990's, there was a film of magic, fancy, and little wizards my age. Beautifully rendered and interestingly animated, a young boy escaped from his tree house, to the local library. There, the floor melted, he found he could make magical things happen - but terrible things happened in the library, too. The floor melted, the vaulted ceiling's colors dripped onto the floor starting a monsoon, and dragons pursued him out the lion-statue'd walkway. He had to befriend many creatures, find clever solutions to making his way out again.
