Ok, so for this thread I want to know which 2 characters (1 from DC & 1 from Marvel) none above high herald would make the most badass Amalagam character. So in other words what 2 charactera powersets would make the best combination?

I'll go first.

I think a Flash & Black Bolt Amalgam would be epic. Imagine how much destruction he could do. With that kind of speed and BBs voice he could literally destroy the entire planet in seconds. Or how about a Master IMP Blow?

Silver samurai and colossus would make fairly powerful melee combatant with rather lower end powers compared to others being suggested.

Dr strange plus Adam Destine would be powerful mixture.

As would Flash and Adam Destine.

Essentially, it would have been Lord Marvel as he should have been portrayed; Captain Marvel + Shazam by all rights should have been a beast and portrayed as such instead of what he got.

Superman can't amp from light alone, it has to be solar-based and i don't think Dr. Light can project solar energy. Light Ray is a good choice, though.

Besides, it's not even all that great. Superman's durable enough as it is that it would be more interesting and probably more beneficial to give him something wildly different than his own powerset.

But there are many beings that can hurt him. Adam is completely immune. He also like few thousands year old I believe. He also posses immunity to everything if not mistaken. energy manipulation, telepath ect.





I dont think he would at all. Adam completely immune, all Dooms add abilities would be worthless.

None of that would work, he completely immune to everything. Doom could bfr him with strength, but that gunna be hard when he has superman abilities to boot. also I disagree that they take foes down adam and superman could not, unless prep involved. Other wise Superman plus Adam would fair better against pretty much anyone.

Also, why do you assume that there is a battle? ermm. This thread wasn't constructed to argue which amalgam would beat which, but rather simply which would be better.

Superman with Doom's intelligence, technology and skills would be superior to Superman with Adam's invulnerability. He would be able to tackle more powerful and more varied threats, he would be able to serve better in any capacity, he would just straight up be better.

again in non prep battle he would not. Pretty much you have superman who immune to any attack. magic, telepath, physical. He would be an utter beast.

have you read clan destine? Adam powers are very clear. He immune to everything, he immortal. Best some one has done to him is bfr him via punching him extremely far away. He not much of a threat to anyone, but personal defense wise, you got no better. Mixture with someone like superman would be beastly.

Apparently the plan for Amalgam Comics was to end it with a massive Crisis crossover where Dr Doomsday and Thanoseid teamed up to destroy the Universe...for some reason.

Amalgam comics ended before they could finish the first issue.

I think it was either due to poor sales or some kind of falling out between the people from both companies who made the short lived company.
