Ok this review isn't from me, but from my friend.

He said he just got out of the theater and he was laughing his ass off.

I asked what rating he'd give it and he said 20 out of 10.

Johhny Knoxville was on Howard Stern and he said that no matter how successful this movie was, there would be no sequel.

I only signed up to post this so excuse me! Backfire is really anoying in the fact he doesn't know how to use forums correctly and seems to think he has to reply to EVERY comment posted. Dude, that's called a chat room. He managed to make this thred go off topic and grow out of control but I do have to agree with him about the movie. It does suck and I'll tell you why I think so. It's no differnt to the show and the only thing they did that wouldn't have made MTV was get a cuss word aired without a beep. It wouldn't have even been beeped here in the u.k...

As for film makers they don't have a clue, on our web site we have 30 or so jackassesque movies we have made and they are equally as good as the filming in the movie. We have no tallent either all our stuff is cause we are usually drunk and guess what, they are the same. Don't get me wrong I like jackass but it's not great, it's like cheeseburger T.V. It'll do for a quick snack but nothing memorable and you feel hungry 30 minutes later.

Oh yeah the site if you want to see, we have loads of jackass stuff too..

It's been a while since saw Kangaroo Jack, but i still think a lot of the parts were funny. I can't wait for it to come out on video I give it a 9 out of 10.

Saw this movie for a week ago...and I have to say...real funny!! I laughed so much!! The stunts where hillarious and much better than those in MTV.

well i finally saw it, and ill admit, it had some very funny segments, most of it was shock humor, but at certain points i was laughing pretty hard. see, i admit when im wrong....kinda.

yeah that's true, it's got some hella funny parts. it's not actually a movie, but it's still funny.

I dont know if anyone has mentioned it yet, but wasnt the movie made because they got to a point where they could'nt put half the stuff they were filming on tv because it was bad. So they made a movie.

i must admit.. i never watched the show jackass, but i did watch the movie and i was laughing and cringing for through the whole thing.

after reading this thread i'd like to add that jackass is horror for the mothers of young kids who try to imitate jackass... now thats real horror.

I thought Jackass was pretty funny, but not as funny as everyone was saying. They said they had to make that movie because the stuff they were doing couldn't be aired on television but I see stuff like that on the show all the time. I think it was overrated, but still pretty good.~

now yes Jackass is a very dumb movie but who likes clever humor anyway i have seen jackass over 30 times i once wathced it three times in a row the regular version and then the directors and johnny knoxvilles commertary and then the cast commetary it was ****in funny i love that movie and the show so for any one that dosent like it must have a old person sense of humor or feels insulted by it sense of humor because this movie kicks ass

haha this movie was the best. my favorite part is when bam N that other guy *maybe johnny?* like fall out of the ceiling when they R pretending 2 rob sum diamonds N the black guy like see em and like hauls ass out of there, and doesnt stop running until he's 5 blocks away. haha, pure comedy. oh yah, in the extras the pocket ass return. rotfl. yah great stuff.

I never watched a jackass episode but people kept on telling me to watch it so finally watched the movie. I always tought that these guys were total idiots (which they are) but after seeing this movie i had a new found respect for them. they are very daring. I have to say that it has been a while since i laughed that hard. I loved that one of them challenged himself to get his mother to say the F-word. I didnt like the papercut scene. I saw this movie on DVD. i skipped that scene. but it was still a good movie.
