I never liked A New Hope as a title.

ANH has always been Star Wars to me

A New Hope might sound a bit awkward when compared to its immediate sequels, but it is a good subtitle. The original film sounds better(to me) as 'Star Wars' instead of 'Star Wars:A New Hope' or the much- lamented 'Episode IV'.What do you think??

hm...Star Wars Episode III: when sith lord darth sidious strikes the jedi and kills them except anakin, ob1, and yoda who he couldn't catch becuz he was 2 slow and he recruited anakin to be his apprentice in the dark arts, and alos when padme "dies" and luke and leia get seperated and this is the darkest movie so far and leaves us all frustrated when GL tells us he ain't gonna make another movie.

Redemption? Rather doubtful.

We have come full circle in trying to pick 'cool' titles. That is a mistake. GL uses 50s style Flash Gordon titles.

Yes the name of the film should be something cool like "The Reign of the Sith Lords". Or how about "The Day of the Sith".

I tried that one already actually. But I think my suggestions have some merit to them.

i got this really cool fan based ep3 preview. but that's not the cool part. the entire "trailer" is done with LEGOS! Padme, Anakin, ObiWan, yoda, windu, everybody is legos. they had stardestroyers, lightsabers, blasters. it was pretty cool. anyways at the end, they dubbed ep3: rise of the empire

Seriously I have never liked the 'Attack of the Clones' subtitle of Episode 2. I think a cool name for Episode 3 would be "Star Wars-The Clone Wars". Won't happen of course but still sounds cool to me.

that would be pretty cool GS, but i think the clone wars are pretty much ending when ep3 rolls around

Uh...I already said that somewhere else on here, but that was simply my own preference of a cool-sounding subtitle for the film.

hey i dont know if someone has said this one already (i read the first two pages and skipped the rest) but i heard ep 3 was going to be called "knight fall" i could be wrong as i cant remember my source but it sounds relevant right? i mean the fall of the jedi...so it makes sense...

more than likely it wont be called that since this title was first seen around the time AOTC came out..and that was meant to be called "the fall of the republic"

this is just guessing, os cal, the real title will get out around january-february of 2005

"Shadow of the Empire" was the name of the SW videogame for N64 a long time ago. The other guesses just sound weird.

I VERY much doubt it.

As I have stated very many times before, too many guesses are not even close to the sort of Flash Gordon titles that GL chooses.
