IW has the stuff to take her down, but it really comes down to whether she can get a shield up before Cheetah claws her heart out with a speed-blitz.

Pretty much.

Cheetah does like to play with her food.

Sue can get her shields up pretty fast (as shown) and battle distance does start at .5 km away which is quite a distance for her to cover in less than .1 of a sec. Speed is one thing but acceleration is another.
