Went to the Maker's Mark distillery in Loretto, KY with a friend. Dipped my own bottle of Maker's Mark. We intended to take the last tour of the place but got there too late due to bad directions from my gps. We were outside talking to one of the distillers and told him how we got there too late for the tour.
He told us he had to be there until midnight and would gladly give us a private tour! It was great. We saw everything and even had a private tasting of their new 46 bourbon (which is amazing) inside one of the aging barns.
If you've never been there I suggest you go. The Maker's Mark distillery is the oldest bourbon distillery in operation in America and is on the historic registry.
Plus their bourbon is fantastic.
