That Paul Phillips guy looks like he has AIDS himself. Probably trying to get laid by fooling the public.

I'm not convinced AIDS is isolated. On the other hand, this point doesn't counter (or even cite) any of the studies that show correlations between AIDS and HIV; it doesn't counter any of the studies that show how HIV develops into AIDS; it doesn't come up with a reasonable counter-theory on the origin of AIDS; it neglects obvious confounding variables to at least some of its statistically-drawn conclusions. It has the fingerprints of a fairy tale.

Yes, these are definitely "scientific" sources... call me when there's an actual study confirming this and not just some guy's highly flawed arguments/

Did you just link to an AIDS study from 1994 with a straight face? You don't think research has been done in the past seventeen years?

Actually in reading the article it doesn't seem to be a study of any kind, just another rant from the guy.

It's worth skimming the responses they link to at the bottom. The first two praise him (and at the time maybe he could have been said to have a point worth listening to) but the rest shred his argument.

It happens. Just like Gabrille Giffords survived being shot in the head even though we know that one should expect to die from that. There are few absolutes in the real world.

That is not a study and that is obviously a highly-biased site...not to mention the fact that it's also 17 years old, which is positively ancient compared to how long we've known about and have been researching the disease.

And because HIV doesn't always turn to full-blown AIDS.

If it does not cause aids then what does? beside sleeping with another man or using drugs and what not? another good reason why being gay is wrong.

I do believe that if you keep sinning in different ways it does catch up to you in the end. Reather it is true about aids I can't say weather or not I do believe that to be the case.
