That said, MM would win unless Guy pulls fire out of his ass. Even then, I feel like MM hasn't been showing the same level of weakness to fire recently.

^ GL's tp defenses are as spotty as anybody's. Few comic characters have ever exhibited truly consistent tp defense.

Hal's return usurped Kyle, who's a far better character. That's the main reason I don't care so much for him.

Hal is the 4th best GL, at best. (Kyle =/> Guy > 'Wog > Hal)

This generation mostly will like Kyle. Hal is old school. I don't prefer one over the other, but I like Hal and he has some of the best feats ever. PC, of course.

Guy also brought the entire Corp together in Recharged, thought up that "trawling net" in Blackest Night, and defeated Eclipsed Superman..

Plus, he was tossing Despero around and holding his own, until Ice got hurt and he lost his cool.

Guys a pretty awesome character, that often gets shortchanged because of years of being written down as a one dimensional joke character in the Giffen days..

heh. hal is #1 for me too in terms of gl ability, but i like both kyle and guy better as characters. i like hal too--he's kinda classic, but the others are a little more... modern, if that makes sense.

Guy should certainly be powerful enough to hurt MM.

He's hurt Superman, after all.

He's also contained Lobo for a brief time, when he got his yellow ring.. That's pretty impressive, if you consider how strong Lobo is often portrayed.

If MM can phase through GL's shield then I dnt see any GL defeating him.

Even if he cant he still beats Guy. Strength and Speed in league with the big guns plus Advanced Shapeshifting abilities plus one of the most Powerful Telepaths in comics.

To be honest, I don't follow Guy other than the small apperances he's made in Superman, Blue Beetle etc.. He hasn't shown anything to prove that he's an elite hero. He's by far the least interesting Green Lantern: Hal, Kyle, John, Alan, Wog.... then its Gardner. He doesn't bring anything to the table. Anyway, I was rereading DC #0 from 2-3 years ago and was cracking up when Batman mentioned to Clark and Diana that he punched him in the face. Bruce reminded me of a three year old haha.. Also, Black Canary took a picture of the fiasco and sent it to WW lawls...

Batman one shot KOing Guy WAS pretty funny.

But the joke was on him, because soon after the Grey Man started taking the League apart, and Guy wasn't able to come to the party. Nice leadership skills, Bats.

Hell, Mr. Miracle and Captain Marvel were debating on quitting the league because Bats was enjoying egging Gardner on a little too much.

I do read Green Lantern, his name is Hal Jordan.
I own all of his individual issues since Rebirth up until Blackest Night #1.. However, I own Blackest Night tbp, Sinestro Corps War, The Flash & Green Lantern: Brave & Bold, Justice League and most of his current apperances since 2007 that he's made outside of his book.
