No Time Gem for Gamora...

Fight to the Death...who wins?

cdtm
Kratos, with ease.

Harbinger
Gamora via Godslayer.

Kratos always makes me laugh. Dude has as much trouble lifting a set of car keys as he does moving around a 100 ton boulder. Everything he does is so dramatic, he can stop himself from getting crushed by a Titan, but he has just as much trouble opening a chest. He makes everything look like it is the most difficult activity in the world.

Hilarity aside...they're called gameplay mechanics. Taken from the cutscenes and boss battles, Kratos wins.

You press a quick time event in those boss battles? You sure did. Game-play mechanic. cool

Unfortunately, your definition is off. Non-optional QTEs are canon as cutscene substitutes.

Kratos did not struggle to open chest # 52 in canon, however Kratos did push up a multi-million ton titan's palm smash in canon.

Though even with that, one can get some funky stuff like Kratos needing some heft to push over a tree. Which is of course hand-waved as PIS.

OMG!!!

So freakin funny...yet so freakin true!

TheLordofMurder
Anyway, to get back on topic, I personally think Kratos mauls her to death...even with Godslayer...his brutality, strength, and fighting ability appears to dwarf hers.

With Godslayer, Gamora wins.

Kratos has way more feats than Godslayer.

Like, actually slaying gods, for one. stick out tongue

Big deal. The gods in Kratos' world weren't all that impressive.

Chaining up Cronos isn't impressive at all. roll eyes (sarcastic)

The Godslayer is overrated. It's done virtually nothing, yet people talk about it like it's a powerful weapon.

Even if it lived up to the hype, it's not the weapon, it's the character using it.

Kratos pwns.

Falling off mount Olympus killed Kratos... In fact the dude dies all the time, but luckily Hades has an open door policy for anyone with light platforming skills. cool

Umm. No it didn't. He fell from Mt. Olympus down through the cracks in the earth all the way down to the River styx and was alive even after the impact.

And then he jumped from halfway up mt olympus down to hades later on again with no injury.

That's convenient! eek!

And I'm pretty sure not at all what was shown during the game...

Kratos never died at a single point in God of War 3. The ending itself is unclear as well.

He only died twice. Zeus killed him. And Ares did. That's it.

And yes, that is exactly what happened. He jumped down from the Labyrinth, which is halfway up Olympus by the in-game diagram, all the way down to the three judges area.
