In Teen Titans, there's a panel of Kid Flash with a crowd behind him and someone who looks a **** ton like the shade (hat and all) there watching him. Anyone else notice?

Maybe Shade remembers the old DCU, and knows the Flashes have something to do with the change? shrug

Is Kid Flash still exempt from changes to the time stream or is he all new too?

After all, Shade is getting his own 12 issue mini (issue #1 comes out next week), and I can't imagine them changing up his story. Shade has always been exempt from 'major events' like this--the proverbial exception to the rule.

If Shade's mini somehow incorporates him as the last bastion of the old DCU, questing for answers as to WTF happened......... I can't actually think of a word that conveys the awesomeness of that.

Keep in mind: not every character has been retooled--some are exactly the same as they were before. Shade would just be another guy on that list.

...But I sincerely hope (like you said) that he's the linchpin to the former DCU. That would be delicious.
