Which of these Characters has the Most Will Power in this Scenario?

All of these characters press their hands flat against a giant device that subjects them to a energetic feedback of the worst pains & fears they have ever experienced; the energy feedback continuously intensifies until all but one of them is rendered unconsious.

Hal Jordan
Superman
Daredevil
Steve Rogers
Iron Man
Spider-man
The Punisher
Wonder Woman
Doctor Doom
Thor
Wolverine
Hulk

which one of these characters would last the longest?

JakeTheBank
Dr. Doom.

SquallX
Jordan did some evil shit as Parallax, that would **** him up if he has to relive it in an instant.

Lord Feron
The machines goes unconscious because Doom will power greater than all!!

dmills
Frank Castle. For sure.

BlackZero30x
this is a VERY tough call because i could see a lot of these people lasting but if i pick just 1 person idk....so i will list them in the order i think

Hal/Superman
Doom
Steve Rogers
Thor
Wonder Woman
Spider-man

Lol.

So I'm assuming that when you say they experience pain etc. until they are unconscious, it's not injuries they're experiencing (i.e. durability is a non-factor).

Superman wins.

Nihilist
Superman

TheLordofMurder
Doctor Victor Von Doom wins...

Didn't even need to read the OP to know that this is the right answer.

In all honesty though, I'd say Hal has more willpower than Superman or Batman.

And I'd disagree, but I can see why you'd see it that way.

what makes you think hal's got stronger willpower than bruce? what has hal done that you don't think bruce would?

What do you mean by sacrifices?

His feats of willpower, mainly. Bruce is smarter, by some degree, so he has an advantage in that sense that he can combine the two, but even Superman has instances of having more will than Batman, and vice versa.

I would bring up the ring feats, but that wouldn't be fair to Bruce considering his attitude towards the ring.

bruce basically gave up his own personal life when he assumed the mantle of the bat. I think hal still has a personal life to a degree.

That's Superman. Bruce has had tons of partners, but being Batman has gotten in the way more than once, added to the fact that his intensity and obsession with his "duties" makes it hard for him to establish long-lasting relationships.

I don't see how having more of a social life means Hal has less willpower.

I mean, if someone asked you to give up your family and gf for a job, you'd have to have tremendous willpower to accept that tradeoff.

Bruce has had more serious girlfriends than Hal has ever had.

and whatever Bruce gives up, he gives up by choice. That's not willpower; that's him doing what he wants. He WANTS to be Batman.

let's posit a hypo willpower test: both bruce and hal are caught by a sadistic maniac and tied to a a chair...he asks each to reveal superman's identity

he tortures them with sick torture devices...you think bruce would crack before hal or the otherway around?

depends on the act.

hal could last as long as bruce imo, but bruce would be more likely to escape before hal due to better intelligence.

Bouboumaster
Hulk wins.

That shit will feed him in stress/anger, and he'll break that machine.

If not, it's a victory for Doom. The runner-up would be: Superman, Wolverine and Steve Rogers, in that order.

Rage.Of.Olympus
Hal Jordan
Doctor Doom
Superman
Steve Rogers
Thor
Hulk
Wolverine
Punisher

That list isn't in order, with characters like those, it's impossible to decide a winner in this scenario.

Superman has expelled Jericho and eclipso from his body just by pure will when even hal was possesed by him

Spectre has said that Kal has the strongest will in creation

http://i1113.photobucket.com/albums/k508/abhilegend/Superman/strongestwillincreation.jpg

Not a hyperbole as he broke the control of emperor joker by just not believing in his power. He has also battled against Dominus by just pure willpower before using T-vo on him.

Prep-Man
Superman/Hal.

Enzeru
Spider-Man.

People seem to be selling Hulk short in this thread... he might not win but he'd be one of the last ones left standing

Probably Superman with Hal, Castle, and Doom as runner-ups.

Manchester Black made Superman believed Lois to have been killed. Black tried all he could to have Superman kill him, and Kal refused.

That's will power right there.

The answer is Dr. Doom. There can be no other.

- Strong willed enough whilst getting tortured in hell to refuse to give any indication that he's in pain: http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/dd247/kjs1982/Dr%20Doom/DoomWillpowerHell.jpg

- Strong willed enough to not allow telepathic attacks to occur in his head:

http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/dd247/kjs1982/Dr%20Doom/DoomWillPower.jpg

- Strong willed enough to concentrate through an intense, horrifically painful attack by the frickin' BEYONDER:
http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/dd247/kjs1982/Dr%20Doom/DoomWillpowerBeyonder.jpg

- Strong willed enough through will power alone to shrug off the effects of a god damned world-wide reality warp by the High Evolutionary that mutated every other human on the planet:
http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/dd247/kjs1982/Dr%20Doom/DoomWillpowerHighEvolutionary.jpg

Strong willed enough to reject the magical transformation that the wielder of the Soulsword would usually undergo by default:
http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/dd247/kjs1982/Dr%20Doom/DoomWillpowerRejectsArmour.jpg

Superman and Hal are second to Doom.

Batman isn't even close, given that he couldn't use a Green Lantern ring in canon.

Hulk doesn't even deserve a mention.

Special mention for The Doctor.

Let's see.

Superman endured 200 years of torture by gog by kryptonite just below the level where it kills him and was still not broken (Action comics 825). He also lived nearly-powerless trapped in the core of earth for years while lava filled all his body. Guess what, he was still not broken.

Superman has so many TP resistance feats, its not even funny. He resisted hector hammond's telepathy when no superhero on earth could.

With galactus' power of course.

Superman reversed emperor joker's universal level reality warp by sheer willpower. Even spectre said that he has willpower which is unmatched in creation.

Superman resisted and reversed the magical transformation by Blaze, the ruler of hell herself in her own realm.

Sorry bud, "Everything comes from superman".

I agree with these.
