It's a great point though, of course all places have their problems. And radicals exist in all places, but the reaction of the people around and the authorities towards such extremism and ignorance is more important in judging how things are, than a lone person expressing their own opinion and nothing else.

Yeah I've not heard of much Engligh-to-Irish hate, but the opposite is well known.

What I meant is I think you got it the wrong way around. You said the English hate the Irish, the "well knowns fact" is that the Irish hate the English (not only the Irish, everyone hates the English, they're wankers, etc.)

But it's true the overall majority of White British people dont view Black and Asian people who were born and raised in the UK as 'British'.

I, too, look forward to the time when the "white" demographic is a minority. It's worse in the US than it is the UK...the racism, that is. I grow tired of hearing "go back to your own country" from the white people here. On my father's side, they imigrated to Ellis Island in the early 20s just like most Italians. It would be extremely hypocritical to say "go back to your own country" if I were to say that. Makes no sense.

Look at Australia, it was wasnt a white majority around 200 years ago but now it is thanks to white immigration from UK and rest of Europe it is.
