Archangel rips Midnighter to shreds.

Archangel hasn't been doing to well in direct confrontations...Fantomex beat on him but had no way to really kill him. Psylocke could've killed him but decided against it. Wolverine almost gutted Warren but was fooled and blasted. In the preview for the next issue Fantomex is beating on Archangel again.

Yeah, we avoid ABC logic and all, and I haven't seen what went down between Fantomex and Archangel, but I can believe that F's misdirection could lead Warren into danger. And saying that, say, Betsy could have killed Warren isn't actually saying a lot, because she's clearly on another level from anybody competing in this match, so...

warren also has the celestial death seed which isn't contunity because he feared the celestials arriving saying that is being 'guided' by the golden celestial

Warren has pretty much lost every direct hand-to-hand match up except against sabretooth, CIS prevented characters from kill him. He really hasn't been impressive at all. Fantomex didn't even use his misdirection.

in the fourth scan fantomex uses a "sentient bullet"* and landed a headshot to no lethal effect so....he really can't hope to do any more than that.

(* the bullet was molded from the skin of a mutant who had "conscious skin", so one would assume he can tell the bullets where he wanted them to end up or they understand who they are intended to kill and change course accordingly) Originally posted by psycho gundam

genocide cannot fly, when he needs to be moved he gets a lift from archangel so...

Fantomex has pretty much beaten him in every hand-to-hand fight but he just has no way to kill ArchAngel.

Wolverine is on the verge of killing ArchAngel in all of their fights and then doesn't for plot purposes.

Psylocke is in the same boat.

he got a lot more powerful as the arc progressed, so signs of "weakness" an issue ago were pretty much off the table the issue hence, for example any time wolverine looked like he had a chance were trashed when he stabbed archangel and owned himself in the process in the last issue

tiamut has been guiding warren

just don't see mids winning here

read uncanny x-force #18, archangel definitely wins.

he only had one weakness so his fighting prowess was irrelevant, but as you can see he still got the job done. his power makes up for the limited skill basically

we havent seen much from dcnu mids. he did say he can kill anything, hes very fast, and able to resist tp from martian manhunter for a time. want to se see more of him.
