Lord Feron
At the Peak of Archangel with apocalypse type persona (X-Force) V.S. Aquaman Post Reboot

Stoic
Arch Angel

Aquaman hasn't got a lot of feats post reboot; it depends if Brightest Day is canon for him, and possibly what came before.

We have no idea what Johns is keeping and not keeping right now.

On average, though, I'd say Arthur.

How powerful was he?

I honestly haven't read the arc.

Warren was once incapacitated, and the wings took control of his body, making him more deadly than he was while he was awake. I don't think Arthur has a prayer out of water against him.

Feats?

And the water thing doesn't apply much anymore, tbh.

Well you go figure that Warren has the maneuverability, and arguably the long distance advantage. His wing pinions could put Arthur down if they hit him, and he can shoot quite a few of them at once if I recall properly.

I made the comment on his sentient wings, because it might not be a good idea if Arthur KO'd him physically or telepathically.

Ah.

Are they any more powerful than the ones he used before?

Ah. I'll have to read the arc.

To be honest I haven't followed Warren that closely since X-Men Inferno, which is what my previous posts were based on. I've been reading that he's changed a bit since those days, but I've begun to read more comics with him in them... at least for a couple months now.

Ah.

I know Arthur has some pretty strong durability nowadays, so I'd wonder if he would be able to tank the darts.

Is his skin far tougher than tree bark? If not they will penetrate. I won't pretend that I know how many times over his skin would have to be tougher, but the pinions cut through bark like a knife through butter. Also if his wings are still sentient like they were back in the day, knocking Warren out could prove to be fatal.

It would be a safe bet to say that Arthur is stronger, and has better combat speeds, but those wings have a decisive reach advantage, as well as the fact that they shoot projectiles filled with neural toxins.

Arthur can and has some serious durability feats like tanking heavy artillaries and taking point blank shot from starro that ko'ed Orion in orbit IIRC. Arthur 6/10 imho.

warren was influenced by the dreamer and poccy

all started when a child was 'killed'

Oh, very much so; his skin is incredibly tough, and even when bullets have broken the skin lately, they've still only been able to break the skin before being deflected away.

His showing against the paralysis toxin lately makes me think that he'd do well against the toxin Angel uses, tbh.

Since the mid-90s when he got his amp.

Pretty sure AA can shred through metal with his wings.

The issue with Aquaman is that there's been some inconsistency. He goes from getting his hand cut off to taking stabs/cuts and fighting on, with the damage seeming minimal and or healing quickly.

In this form, Archangel is easily herald level. Here's just one fight he had where he basically solos everyone:

Oh okay. He most likely wins then, though I could see Arthur putting up a fight.
