Biography: Hotsuma is the protagonist of the underrated PS2 title "Shinobi". After dueling his brother Moritsune, Hostuma became the leader of the Oboro Clan and the wielder of Akujiki, a demonic sword which feeds off the souls of its victums. With each soul Akujiki absorbs, the sword becomes stronger. If the sword absorbs enough souls within a given time, it is able to essentially kill anything in a single hit. This has a drawback, however. If the sword isn't feed souls for a certain amount of time, it will eventually kill the owner. Hotsuma can has an ability to preform a shadow dash which allows him to phase through enemies, manuver around the area, and leave after images of himself. Hotsuma also has multiple kunai which have the ability to stun his enemies. Hotsuma possesses spells which include a giant fire explosion, giving his sword energy-based wind projectiles, and making his shadow dash ludicrously fast.

Even though Hotsuma has had an adequate reception, he is a very underrated character. He is often overshadowed by his predecessor, Joe Musashi, and a lot of old school Shinobi fans dislike him . This guy honestly doesn't have enough fans, so that's why i decided to create this thread and pay tribute to my favorite ninja in gaming
