Apprentice Malgus and Darth Vindican vs. Master Kao Cen Darach and Satele

Master Kao was able to hold off Malgus and Vindican for some time, and even mortally wounded Vindican. Could he defeat both if his Padawan had stayed?

What I mean is would Padawan Satele be more of a hinderance than an advantage to Kao? Can the duo overcome Malgus and his master?
