Don't think I saw this thread before now, but eh.. not really liking the premise of this AoA.

From the preview i'm not liking the art for it, But i did like the .1 issue for Uncanny X-Force.

Is it actually based on the original AOA?

Very odd considering once the heroes sent Bishop back in time to correct the past mistake of Xavier dying (along with Dark Beast and Xman) the Mkraan crystals effect on the time alteration caused the entire universe to become consumed in solidified crystal. The story should have stopped there.

3/5 is on the low end of the review scale, the first issue has gotten generally positive reviews from virtually every major comic review site.

It's nothing spectacular but it's a safe middle of the road 7.5 / 10 book IMO.
