When the delorean's fuel tank gets ruptured couldn't they have used the delorean that Doc hid in the cave and put the broken delorean in the cave? In 1955 Doc coulda easily fixed it and they had fuel by 1955 as well so Marty could still get back to 1885. Like with the terminator 2 thread I could be reading too much into this but at the same time I feel like it was an obvious and simple solution to the problem of getting Marty back to 1985
