I felt mostly awkward watching this. But yeah, pretty well done as far as effort goes.

Effort was good...the acting was not

The cornball cheesiness in the acting is astounding...

But I love the script. The story is really way more compelling, and truer to the spirit of the books, than anything Fox has come up with.

I agree with you guys. The acting was cheezy but because they were really trying, that made it entertaining. The story was great and the obvious effort made this thing enjoyable.
