With the baseball season quickly approaching an interesting scenario popped into my mind. Suppose that there was a comic book baseball tournment an amalgam of heroes and villains from the Marvel and DC Universes respectively on each team. Here is the scenario it is the bottom of the 9th inning and the home team is down by one run. The Flash (West), Flash (Allen), and Dr. Zoom are all brought in to pinch hit. You are the coach of the other team and losing this game could end your career. In your bull-pen you have Superman (OWAW version), Thanos of Titan (with the reality gem), and Superboy Prime. So the question is are any of them capable of
1. Striking out one batter?
2. Striking out the side?
