Spawn... he has a cool cape.

Spawn at his best killed a crapload of Hellspawn and could fly.
But would that matter against the Rider?

Spawn is guilty as a man can be of murder. One good chain around the neck and Simmons should be in trouble. Though that cape can protect him and allow teleportation if I remember correctly....(or was that camoflage?)

Spawns far more powerful than most, if not all of the demons GR fought.

He was powerful enough to fight and defeat one of Malbolgia's generals(The Violator). Then went on to challenge Malbolgia himself.

I don't think Johnny can hack that.

And technically, the only people he killed, he killed after he was dead, and it was always in some form of retaliation. Violator tried to kill him, and that chick was a cause of his death iirc.

Movie Spawn burned out a bunch of older Spawns. Big Deal. Ghost Rider is an Earth Angel sent mad and represents the universal spirit of Vengeance/Justice.

GR melted guilty men even whilst still in human form. Defeated universal demons with ease.

Spawn is just a Hellspawn.....A Hell general with extreme amounts of ectoplasm. Al Simmons just happened to be (in film) a renegade betrayer who used his powers to kill his brothers and escape a weaker hell.

Ghost Rider is a man possessed by the Spirit of Vengeance/Justice. Who kills any in his path indiscriminately with the limits of his thrown chain or direct touch.

Ghost Rider received heavier retaliation in his films. And heavier consequence. And whilst in prime state kept going.
