Which ones were more formidable...the Punishers (Galactus Punishers) or Imperiex Probes.

Probes I'd say, the Punisher robots are fine, but they never took on high heralds such as Superman and did well enough.

I'd say the Punishers performed better than most Probes (the JLA-beater excepted), and they don't have that little exploding-when-breached problem.
