Basically i didnt get the ending when JH beats AM how did he do it , like did JH evolve to a higher level than mercer with the virus etc? Also when JH tears A.M arms off why couldnt A.M arms reconstruct back etc, did JH bypass his powers or something? Lastly whats your theory and perspective on the ending etc and on AMs and JHs powers??

I think this belongs in the Prototype 2 thread. As for the question, Heller being able to over power Mercer seems to be due to poor writing as Mercer should of been able to over power him easy being the most experienced in the use of blacklight. as for mercer not being able ot regenerate, keep in mind he needs material to absorb to keep up his regeneration or else he can't like in the ending of prototype.

Alex was shown in the fight to be able to instantly grow his arms back. Apparently he ran out of biomass to regrow, which makes little sense seeing as he has hundreds of bodies worth of the stuff in him and right after absorbing eight evolved. Even the Supreme Hunter from the first game was able to regenerate his whole 12ft tall body from a tiny puddle without absorbing anything, and this is the thing that wanted to absorb Alex for the precise reason of gaining his superior regen.

"The good guys drive pushes them to overcome the villain" is what that fight was. Alex was Blacklight for much longer, has absorbed far more biomass and was in an enhanced form from bulk-absorbing eight of his evolved humans. At that point James was inferior to Alex.

You guys seem to forget that Heller absorbed 3 goliaths atleast 20 of those superhumans Orion 2 project lot of orion soldiers ,juggernauts,enhanced brawlers.

All they gave him were select power increases (That Mercer had since P1), and a boost in biomass/strength. For the latter Alex has absorbed more Evolved than Heller has and more importantly he has absorbed Greene in her Mother form, who had 14 strains in her and was highly evolved.

Thanks heaps honestly that really helps makes things clear .. Also on another note why couldn't mercer absorb Heller?
