Exar Kun spams amulets. Plagueis loses because Ragnos did not like him.

I can imagine these two, dancing in the marbled halls of Theed Palace.. to the death.

Well, he's so cocky he thinks he can take everyone. PIS aside, Kun may actually be too arrogant to spam-destroy most of his opponents.

But since SWVF is all about arguing highest achievements as baseline, spam amulets, /thread.

I would like to see someone provide a decent argument for why Exar Kun would be able to prevent Plaguis from ripping Exar Kun's arms off, attached amulets and all, via the force.

Plagueis could dodge the amulets. He is pretty fast.

I'd like to see someone provide a decent argument why being augmented tens of thousands of times in your Force rage would not prevent Plagueis from doing anything.

Plagueis can let the MC leave a guy's body thus kill him/her and rez the dead, it's pretty badass.

I suppose it's a good thing for Plaguis that it takes only a fraction of a second to rip someone's arms off via telekinesis, whereas no one starts off a fight with their rage "magnified a thousand times".

I.E: The classic argument for why Superman would defeat Hulk in a strength contest. Getting stronger the angrier you get is not a defense against a speed blitz.

That's a great argument Blax, that is if you're assuming Plagueis is infinitely faster than Kun and Kun doesn't start the fight off with amulet blasts.

I wasn't aware you had to be vastly quicker than someone to think a thought before they can raise a gun, aim it at you and shoot.

That being said, I'd love for someone to provide some speed feats for Exar Kun. You can go first.

A mortally injured Plagueis atomized a dozen Maladians in Darth Plagueis on the fly and while they weren't trained Force users, neither were Kun's amulet victims IIRC.

Sounds reasonable.

I can see Exar Kun vaporizing Plagueis at long-range with the Amulets - but not within the more narrow confines of the building, without bringing the venue down on both of them in the process.

Until they reach more spacious areas of the Palace, Kun would have to refrain from that.

That being said - I see Kun having a chance surviving in lightsaber combat, long enough to move with the duel, due to his unique and deceptive lightsaber style.

Judging by the Poll, if there aren't any objections, I'll go ahead and announce Darth Plagueis as the winner.
