>_> can you explain why?

Dream is multiversal, God Spawn defeated two universal beings but he's not on Dream's level

I'm not exactly sure as to how Dream's abilities work (I've only read one trade paperback with the Endless), but wouldn't even Hell be one of the realms that he operates fully in?

Galan007
Dream has been to Hell a few times now. He was able to operate there just fine.

However, Dream is most powerful (nigh-omnipotent) within the Dreaming, obviously.

Ah, cool. Thanks.

So would Spawn at this level be around someone like Mephisto in his realm? That would be near omnipotent I would think, but maybe not near enough to beat Dream.

Except it was later revealed that he was horrendously weakened when that happened (Destiny says this when he's browsing his book and seeing the past)

We should downplay any characters we don't favor, regardless of context. thumb up

His own object was turned against him by a mere human. To act like this guy crapped all over universal power is disingenuous. He's powerful but acting like you need to be multiversal level in power to beat him is just complete horsepiss.

At the same time, you can be as powerful as DC Lucifer and still not want to take him on.
