Assign the best to worst character to best and most efficiently fix each issue for the given scenarios. (New Earth versions of DC characters)

1) Superman 2) Thor 3) Hal Jordan 4) Silver surfer 5) Wonder woman 6) Sentry

- Rescuing people and removal of rubble from the World trade centre collapse. They are assumed to arrive on the scene from space right after the collapse.

- A Planet Hulk-like event where the Earth's tectonic plates and mantle are compromised

- Dealing with the "Cloverfield" monster in Times square, obviousy trying to minimize loss of life and property damage.

- Protecting the Earth from a laser blast from the Death star, and then dealing with it and it's armada of ships as it recharges.

- Classic Juggernaut w/ sculcap underneath his helmet.

- The soul of their significant other is in Hell and in Neron's possession

- World hunger in the least amount of time

Only thing that might be different from this statement is that the Sentry can bring people back to life (WTC collapse). If SS can do that, he earns the clean sweep.

(Honestly this one's pretty casually easy for all of them- my thoughts are just 'who's the best suited for throwing it back into the ocean or into space or what have you,' 'who's most used to fighting monsters,' and 'who's best at preventing collateral')

They can all stop it, but Thor would probably be the best at this. He can absorb the blast and return it back, and do some AOE storms against the armada.


Everyone can do it via BFR, but if that's not allowed Thor can cancel the enchantment via Mjolnir and beat him up with his fists.

http://i.imgur.com/vsQEk1m.jpg In this scenario, speed would be the best tool to rebuild the towers and minimize the casualties. Surfer can rebuild the towers and heal people but he need to find them first. Superman can do it the fastest here.



Those two examples are when planet was destabilized from the draining of energy. I'm not sure if surfer can manipulate tectonic plates when they are simply falling apart. Hal is the best option here since he can make constructs to hold all the continents together.

There is more to stopping world hunger than just terraforming the planet. There is no simple solution here for anybody.
