Since the First thread didn't work out since it had incorrect data, I decided that we should make our own own shonen tier list. If you decide to use a manga, you have to put in at least 2 characters for each tier. Also you have to use at least the series one piece, naruto, and bleach. Feel Free to use other shonens and and even seinens. Basically any ongoing manga in general.

Here are the tiers.

You missed the point. It's not the data that's relevant, but rather the reasoning behind it.

If you make a credible argument for why a character should be put above another, then said argument can be reused by others. Just an appealing list -- in contrast -- is useless.

Actually it is not really useless at all. Unleess the person is omnipotent Each character has a superior character above them. Do you get what im saying? Its like this, putting Sakura Haruno against Asura in a fight. Who would win? Asura because he is stronger, faster, possess a higher amount of reaction speed, more durable, probably more intelligent,lol, and has more power than her. Therefore we can rate them. Whitebeard vs Luffy. Akainu vs Rock Lee. We sure can put them into tiers without any arguments. due to what we know. And besides it is human nature to debate.

The Spirit King has done nothing while the Sage apparently defeated the closest thing to a god in Naruto(besides the actual god guy).

Well that wasn't proven and both the spirit King and the Sage are purely hyped, but the Spirit King is considered to be omnipotent while the sage is just a Giga Ninga so....

The Sage has an attack that is effectively reality warping. The Spirit King has....nothing. And even if he is just hype, the Sage has hyped feats, which will always be better than an often used word like "Omnipotent."

Granted, I don't remember that word being applied to the Spirit King.

edit: Yeah Great Spirit from Shaman King is easily above the HST though some of the Gold Saints would kick the shit out of it from what I've heard.

Is it me or is naruto a little bit to high?

He is at the moment leagues above a featless Hiruzen.

Then again, you made the list so idk why you put him so high.

Hiruzen was said to be the professor of ninjas or something like that. It was stated that in his prime he was the strongest hoakge. Even in old age he was somewhat going up against the other kages. Also Naruto is nowhere near LEAGUES of hiruzen. he has WAY more intelligence and experience than nardo. But I will move him down a bit.

You misunderstand me. A list without definitions, reasoning, and sources is useless because it doesn't really prove anything.

You can't just rate a character above another without providing a proper explanation of why and then expect people to reference the list.

A great example is Bleach characters. They operate separately from energy and power according to Narita, whom further went on to explain that energy is a space-time concept, whereas reiatsu is its super-concept. Like the relation between area and volume. Accepting this would mean that Bleach should be rated higher than it is in versus communities. So you'll have to specifically eliminate concepts like this to avoid ambiguity and make the list reliable.

You are seriously putting rayleigh and magellan in front of hashirama? And where is tsunade who is extremely underated even though she can one hit kill alot of characters with her super strength.
