Colossus-Big C
1. These guys want to kill galactus, can they do it?
2. They want to steal his power
3. Enslave Him

They have 6 Months Of Prep for each task

Team

Iron Man
Thanos
The High Evolutionary
Dr Doom
Reed Richards

Harbinger
There are multiple members of the team (all of them?) who can steal his power in far less time.

Given the time frame, I don't see why they couldn't kill or enslave him, either. Hell, Bill weakened him by starving him; I don't see why the team couldn't develop something that sapped his power.

Cogito
Doom solos the field. The entire field.

Here's the problem: Big G normally ignores people and just goes about his business. Using that BRB as an example, what would have happened if he had just gotten angry and attacked Bill from the start, going full-on nigh-abstract?

If you turn Big G into forum bloodlust mode instead of the ambiguously moral detached cosmic being he normally is, Reed and crew are in for a lot tougher fight.

And then loses to Reed, sure.

Black bolt z
Really? Theoretically, shouldn't some of the people here be able to stop kill him alone given this prep?

Well, yes, but also theoretically Galactus should be able to vaporize most of them before they think or act on any sort of plan once the fight starts.

Sin I AM
Lol what galactus is that

ColossusGrundy
Team wins each time, but has a major problem enslaving him and end up killing him.

Big G is cool, but Doom, Richards AND Stark? ........... poor Galactus

Colossus-Big C
Which of these guys have actually used tech on galactus before in comics?

Thanos almost killed Galactus with about a day of prep maybe less

And Big G suffers from PIS more than just about anyone else in comic book history...

With PIS off, he's an abstract of immeasurable genius. Schooling Amadeus Cho about crossing an infinite gulf in Chaos War sounds about right.

Spite against Galactus.

Doom solos.

Disgusting.

Stoic
Thanos can kill anything if he has prep time.

Doom did it with the Cosmic Cube, his tech, and the Cosmic Control rod.
And again with Klaw when Galactus was in the middle of absorbing his ship. Klaw apparently siphoned enough power that was able to battle PR Beyonder. I can't stress how much sense this didn't make, but what do you do.

HE turned him into a brain that made absolutely no sense in any context.

Thanos did it by throwing two planets at each other with a nuke that was able to almost completely destroy Hunger (who eats dimensions and was tanking Galactus blasts).
Galactus also apparently couldn't teleport.

Besides the Thanos and HE examples, they had some good help (although Klaw, again made no sense).

Geniuses is spelled wrong.

Not sure if Tony has. The rest of them have, though. in an alternate earth. Where his factory was in fact a giant iron man armor. Too out of it to recall details at the moment.

Johnny's energy powered Reed's device, but it was made of Quasar's quantum energy not worldeater tech. Reed was giving Quasar instructions like "put an ion converter here and make a mutagen resonator there to scan his genes". Now I know Quasar is into science but that's kind of advanced stuff to lay on him. Anyway, pretty weak story idea just being able to change him into a human. At least they stated they could only do it once, so that the same PIS couldn't just be used again.

Most of these examples don't make a lot of sense really. Thanos' wasn't even tech, just a big explosion - throwing even thousands of nukes into a planetary collision adds about as much as throwing a firecracker into an atomic blast to get a bigger explosion. And since Galactus can take blasts from beings who can one-shot planets, I guess he was just in a hungry state again by then (as usual).

Galactus should really be an immeasurably evolved genius way above these guys, but writers like Starlin often just write him down to a big guy with big blasts.

He is and that have frankly been shown plenty of times throughout his history, and if this was a prep battle between the team and Galactus, Galactus (having far more advanced tech) will win.
