My question can easily be generalized to encompass serialized comic books in general but specifically
"Which characters do you feel should be allowed to evolve/grow and which do you feel are comfortable staying a their usual statue quo"
For Instance I feel Thor is a character that has been greatly hindered from his regression by fraction while Captain America seems to be a character that can thrive with little change in his personality.

How about Barbara Gordon. If im not mistaken theres been a huge uproar because of her being reverted back to the batgirl character. She seems to be one of the characters that dont benefit when she isnt allowed to grow. Batman seems to be the definition of a status quo character. He never really goes out of the norm of being brooding, and if he does show any signs of character growth, he quickly reverts to type (kinda a two steps forward one step back)
