ColossusGrundy
OK, we give each of these a Louisville Slugger and have Jared Weaver pitch to them.

Remember that it's not just power, but also bat speed and technique that sends the ball farther.

Superman
Hulk
Thor
Black Adam
He-Man
Captain Marvel
Sentry
Colossusnaut
Icon
Gladiator

(BTW before anyone asks, yes the bat is proportionate to the person swinging it)

Mindset
Bat breaks and the ball explodes.

Inhuman
Either the bat shatters or the ball disintegrates.

edit. ^^^^ F****ing Hivemind!

ColossusGrundy
Ok... adamantium bat and the ball is Plastic man

Now try again.

DarkSaint85
Plastic Man gets smashed into paste.

ColossusGrundy
Vibranium ball then.

geez at the technicalities.

DarkSaint85
Vibranium balls absorbs all the kinetic energy from the bat, and doesn't fly anywhere :-p

ColossusGrundy
You really don't want to debate this do you?

ok......

Adamantium bat

FLUBBER ball, tempered in the pits of Apokolyps for 50 years, making it tougher than diamond, but reactive as a rubber ball.

(I realize that is technical BS, but I wanna see this thread move)

DarkSaint85
Its just....too difficult to debate.

You say technique comes into it - I haven't really seen anything from these guys to say that any of them have a technique advantange. Maybe Billy Batson and Clark have experience with baseball growing up, so they would at least have more of a feel with the bat...but otherwise, it comes down to strength. Then the usual 'Superman and Billy have lifted infinity'/ Thor has lifted Midgard serpent etc etc arguments will be played out.

pym-ftw
Everyone else

He-man
Isn't his best feat lifting a castle
And I believe he was amped at the time

Inhuman
...

Mindset
Thor is used to swinging his hammer around.

And he also uses Mjolnir a lot.

DarkSaint85
He almost always grips it rather firmly with a one handed grasp, though. Would he be able to adjust to a longer implement?

JakeTheBank
Actually, some artistic depictions show Thor wielding Mjolnir more like a traditional two handed war hammer with a longer handle, which it was intended to be in terms of both Norse myth and Marvel canon.

DarkSaint85
Yah, hence 'almost'. Regardless, I doubt an adamantium bat would be similar in feel to Mjolnir, could be wrong though. I still think Cap and Supes would do best, using technique in conjunction with strength. Anyone who's tried to play cricket/baseball or badminton/squash/tennis would know that differences in the equipment ....well, makes all the difference.

He was holding back as to not put the ball through moon.

Black bolt z
Superman. Force = Speed x Velocity, and superman has plenty of both.

DarkSaint85
And technique.

The first half of these posts stole my answers.

This thread has sapped my will to live.
