Morgan Freeman's version of God from the movie Bruce Almighty

vs

The Saint of Killers from the ultra awesome comic book saga Preacher

Both are having dinner at Chili's. God wants the appetizer to be the Bloomin' Onion. The Saint wants cheese sticks and buffalo wings.

The shit hits the fan.

Who kills who?

BloodRain
The Saint's god is not omnipotent, so the things that Saint has killed (god off his power-throne, lucifer, guy who was amped above their god) would be weaker than a real omnipotent.

Freemangod is the Christian god, so should be a real omnipotent.

XanatosForever
Freegodman unmakes the Saint, the brings him back and puts both appetizers on the table before saying, "Be quiet and eat."

Harbinger
God should. IIRC, SOK only killed Preacher-verse God after he was off of his throne and no longer omnipotent.

freeman ftw

Freemangod is the Christian god, so should be a real omnipotent. He's explicitly not "truly" omnipotent, and frankly, the "hur omnipotence" argument is retarded

The Saint killed a being who was more powerful than the God of Preacherverse while on his throne, who created the universe. This is the equivelant of Freeman's shown power level.

Saint wins.

Wasn't the God SoK killed de-powered because he wasn't at his throne?

NemeBro
He was.

The Saint also killed Genesis, whom is more powerful than God on his Throne.

I see...

Not really. He's more like a generic Judeo-Christian God meaning he could fit for Zoroastrianism, Christianity, Islam, and Judaism. Basically, he's supposed to be the God of any monotheistic religion. That's why the "writers" avoided any talk of Jesus.

And the one that would win is Freeman, of course. Preacher will do nothing against a Freeman. Genesis and "God" from Preacher were...not as smart as they should have been. God got made and quit being God? Really? How is an unchangeable, immovable, and timeless entity supposed to do that? Exactly.

IIRC, the fate of Genesis was left unknown.

Starr shot Jesse in the head, Genesis emerged, and then Tulip and Starr dished it out. That's the last we saw of Genesis.

BloodRain
Why? Freeman is meant to be one and the Preacher verse doesn't have one, along with the above.

Though Im going with the assumption that Freeman's feats are those in religious texts.
