first, this is not a bait thread as some may refer to it. i've been told in no uncertain terms however, that the original version of adam has absolute invulnerability to damage. i.....disagree. curious how far others think he will make it in straight h2h.

1. hercules and thor
2. wwh and pre-flashpoint superman
3. sentry, gladiator, king hyperion
4. thanos and mangog
5. pc validus
6. zeus and wbh

just how far does his invulnerability extend....?

As per the OP. Black Adam as all newbie super strong, or powerful characters suffered from the newbie smell syndrome. But as time went on we really saw how he compared to his peers. We need to also remember that at the time that Black Adam hit the comic book scene that the roster of other super powered characters was a lot smaller than it is today. He stops at 1 if we also apply the newbie smell to all of the other characters participating in this gauntlet.

You could make a cause to him getting to four, but not past it.
