They can't use guns but they can use anything they find in the street as weapons.

I'd give Alan the weight advantage, but Joey is an actor. He's likely at least mildly fit.

Alan is a bit laid back compared to Zach's typical "flip out psycho" persona.

I can't see him winning any kind of fight against someone of Joey's type.
