Oh then DS, in that series he had cloth armor didn't use any of his exotic powerful weapons and he had troubles even walking down the stairs due to a serious injury in the first issue of the volume.

What do you think would be a more appropriate set of gear and armor for a fight with DS?

I think so. It was a flashback anyway, so technically it was pre-bottom.

Either adamantium armor or carbonadium. Adamantium truncheon, crescent darts...

Recently in Bendis' run he was carrying an energy shield, Wolverine-like claws (not unbreakable though), web-shooters, etc.

Good fight. Would give Slade a small majority though.
