Hi, guys
I just want to know why people say capt can win vs any martial atrist who is not superhuman eg shang chi, daredevil but wolverine can't. Everyone knows they both have jobber aura ( cap three shotted the hulk come on) but for different reasons capt because he is an american soldier who is pure of heart ( americans never lose) and wolverine for his popularity and his dedicated fanboys.

Both have at least peak human strength, both have superhuman speed, superhuman reflexes etc.
So why the contrast?
ps I'm a wolverine fan.

Scans taken from the respect thread. As you can see, Wolverine doesn't have much trouble with taking down these guys.

I know he sometimes takes them down but in the mind of kmcers it's PIS that he even touched them nevertheless take em' down but it's not for the good old Cap because 'wolverine isn't close in martial arts to shang chi and iron fist etc while Cap is'.
All I want to say is even though writers decide to show that aspect of him in the majority of his fights because marvel's already saturated with accomplished H2H characters doesn't mean they should make him look like an angry kid whose lost his doll with no sense of direction and thus no clinical, calculated attacks. For god's sake the guy is a 200 year old whose 'virtually mastered all the martial arts of the world' as said in marvel database.

StiltmanFTW
Some are stubborn, but in general it ain't that bad.

Logan recently beat Murderous Lion who got labeled as "one of the best h2h fighters in the world" while missing some of memories from training with Master Po (which is PIS, considering he's able to recover memories lost via physical trauma).

JakeTheBank
Captain America...jobber aura?

Doesn't compute.

Ridley_Prime
It should compute.

JakeTheBank
Nope.

No idea what this jobber aura Cap supposedly has is all about. If anything, it's Cap jobbing every time he doesn't kill someone with his bare hands.

duibb
Wasn't it the capt that 3shotted the hulk, look at it this way a planet buster who can brush away nuclear bombs and survive in space beaten by the best of MAN. Yes, you heard a man, doesn't make sense at all.
But when a hard to reach metal laced creature who can heal incredibly fast is faced against the green behemoth , he can 'only' scrape against the hulks padded skin.
Does that make sense at a nonbiased perspective no, not at all.
sad

StiltmanFTW
So what? Wolverine does better than Steve on average. No point in whining, really.

Cap has some absurd feats because he's Cap, period.

JakeTheBank
Hulk's lucky he survived, tbh.

* problem is, the guy's not supposed be what he is now... his origin was released almost 30 years after his first comic appearance... correct me if i'm wrong, but before his origin released, he is not a martial arts expert? before, almost all heroes are trained by Captain America in martial arts, but later, characters trained by Wolverine are gaining esp in the X-men... so in martial arts field, i think Cap and Logan are pretty much equals... but Logan has an edge in most stats (strength, speed, agility, stamina, durability)... Cap is peak human, but Logan is superhuman (or meta-human or whatever they call it)... stick out tongue
