Necrosha Selene takes on Andrew Bennett in the battle to see who is the top vampire.

Who comes out on top?

Selene isn't a "vampire" vampire. She doesn't drink blood, she drains souls/life essences.

On top of that, she's a competent sorceress, telepath, pyrokinetic and telekinetic (inanimate matter only) and she has superhuman stats (strength, speed, durability).

Unless she was nerfed from her classic days, she takes this easily.

Andrew imo. Hes a top tier mage.

Kulan Gath > Andrew Bennett magic-wise IMO

Selene has faced tougher.

Andrew just received a huge power boost. He isn't just a top tier mage, but a lot more.

Same thing with Selene though Prep. She's doesn't need blood, she drains life essences. I think she doesn't even need to touch your skin, she can do it through clothing or armor too (need confirmation on that).

This is on top of her superhuman physical stats, her more than competent mage skills, her pyrokinesis, and her telekinesis.

She was fighting off the X-men WHILE engaging Prof X telepathically. Sure he wound up beating her but he's the most powerful psi on the planet.

She's a telepath, pyrokinetic, and telekinetic. She doesn't have to speak a single spell if she doesn't want to.

She can merely think him being crushed by a gigantic stone fist (like she did vs Sebastian Shaw) and he's as good as dead or at least crippled severely.

All this assumes she doesn't use her "teleport" mind trick to sneak up behind him and drain his life force.

The whole point of POTS is for Selene to STOP working. Zatanna has done it to DESPERO, who also has TP.

He would have to speak it no? My money is on thought being faster than sound or in this case, Selene crushing him to death before he's able to say "POTS".

No. That's a backwards spell, Andrew is a top tier MAGE that doesn't need to speak anything.

Also, this is probably a bad fight for Selene, because Andrew has Cain inside of him (Or it seems) and Cain can suck magical energy like a sponge. Like when he was absorbing all the magical energy from Justice League Dark.

But that's the thing. She doesn't rely on or even need her magic (even though she's an accomplished mage). Her telepathy (and psi bolts), her pyrokinesis, her superhuman physical stats, her hypnosis/superspeed teleport trick, and her telekinesis are not magical in nature.

Plus there's the whole "draining life force" stuff she does.

I know, but that's not going to stop Andrew from stopping her. Hell, most of those powers, Andrew already has, including reality warping. Selene might put up a fight, but she's not winning.

Huh, when has he ever used a zatanna like spell before?

And has it ever worked on an another mage like selene before. Cause even zatanna cant just auto-win against fellow magex like that.

I believe he pulled it off after his resurrection. Zatanna pre flashpoint stopped a roomful of top mages with one single woed.

Andrew also has tk aa he stopped an army of vampires zombies.

When Selene became a goddess, it was short lived to scale.

Yeah, Goddess Selene basically grew big and turned blue before she was killed. I would've preferred if she ascended earlier in the story. Not just for feats either. A longer reign might've been more satisfying to read.
