I was always curious, since Bardock is dead and Goku dies on and off, Has Goku ever had the chance to meet with his father?

I don't believe he did, actually. In fact, I don't think he even encountered Grandpa Gohan in Otherworld. Which, of course, isn't ever really explained, but hey, that's DBZ for you. As much as I love the series, plotholes are all over the place. But, it's something you learn to accept as time goes on.

The Manga really doesn't show much Afterlife stuff. Most of it was added in the Anime.

Also, most of the time Goku does *not* get to the Afterlife proper, instead going to King Kai's, Hell, and such.
