He will get rid of the son of Jor-El because he continues to interfere with his plans. Helspont has returned to keep an eye to see how Kal-El is protecting his lamb. He finds out H'el is about to kill Kal-El and he will have none of that. He makes his pressence known. H'el recognizes Helspont as one who has killed many kryptonians in the past and tosses Kal-El to the side focusing on the greater threat. The two immediately clash in an all out brawl.
