i can see this as Batman teaching the youngsters a lesson in humility

Batman is in the fray. I think that, if in a fight with Robin, Batman would be in an emotional conflict about killing his former sidekick.

He could also just knock him out cold.

Batman could solo the whole squad. Slade beat them all effortlessly a few time don't see why the Bat can't replicate
