What if Thor was on Loki's side in the movie? Thor first arrives on scene during Hawkeye's attack on the Hellicarrier and Thor helps bust out his brother.


1. Does the rest of the Avengers survive the assault on the hellicarrier?
2. Will the combined efforts of Loki and Thor be enough to pull off a successful Chitauri invasion?


Just to make it a little fair, Nick Fury recruits Spiderman (Garfield) and Wolverine into the Avengers to fill in Thor's spot.

Thor one-shots the Hellicarrier with a charged hammer strike.

Not really convinced Loki is better than Iron Man. I think Thor is overall more powerful than Hulk though.

Thor manhandled Tony, Hawkeye and Widow aren't a problem.. Thor has to get Cap's shield away from him and then Cap goes down.. The Hulk will be a problem especially since Thor has to go all out against him and if he does, Hulk should fall

The Hulk was out of control during the Hellicarrier battle, Thor won't have to worry about fighting him.

Chitauri invasion would've been a 100% success if Thor was Loki's ally.

Thor would have done like he did in the movie when he first arrived. He would have flown in grabbed his bother and left.

Only this time before he left he would have destroyed the vessel he took his brother from before leaving.

Yeah, destroying the Hellcarrier is well-within Thor's power.

Spiderman and Wolverine take Loki. Iron Man and Hulk take Thor. If the Helicarrier goes down then Wolverine, Iron Man, and Hulk would continue the fight on the ground and still win.

In the Chitauri situation the Avengers would probably lose.

The Hulk was out of control during the Hellcarrier battle so he's not going to be any help to the Avengers, Iron-man and Cap were trying to restart one of the turbines so they aren't going to be any help either. In fact, Spider-man and Wolverine are likely going to be too busy trying to stop the Hulk to be of any help.


IOW, the Avengers are screwed.

Hulk was rational enough to fight Thor even when there were other targets around. He doesn't have to help the Avengers, just fight Thor. He'll do this when the two of them start wreaking havoc. Thor barely made it out of that fight anyway.

Wolverine would gut Loki while Spiderman holds him in place with webbing. Nothing Loki does will kill Logan, and Spiderman has better reflexes than Loki. Together they could take him.

The Hulk fought Thor because Thor tackled him when he was about to kill the Black Widow.

Without Thor being on the Avengers, it'll be up to Spider-man and Wolverine to save her life and frankly they don't stand a chance against the Hulk.

Thor(at his fullest power) can destroy Iron Man,Captain America,Hulk,Black Widow and Hawkeye
