you know, it's always annoyed me that Odin - a "god" - could not magically replace/repair his missing eye. Even Deadpool can do that kind of trick.


That said, on topic, Zeus takes Emma for wife, the rest kill each other. Neither Zeus nor Emma are very bothered.

he gave the eye up for wisdom to another powerful magical entity. if he simply replaced it, perhaps he might lose his gained wisdom. in any event, it would be kind of like reneging on a bet....and just not cool.

oh, and team god kills here.

I understand the significance behind it being sacrificed but surely, post-sacrifice he could regrow/replace it.

He's given his "good eye", he's a god he's allowed to grow another.

The God Team wins. The P5 combined are more powerful, but they were flawed inexperienced vessels who didnt do anything particularly impressive with the power.

Without a doubt. They wield the Phoenix Force between them which is more power than all of Earths pantheons let alone two skyfathers and a few thor level beings.

However the P5 were shit hosts to be blunt, had little control or experience using the power, as shown in Uncanny X-men the PF had no interest in their agenda and was happy to let the hosts get pounded by Sinister and his minions until Emma convinced the PF that Sinister was exploiting it and then it backed them and f*cked him over. Having the backing of the PF is very important to how a host performs and their abilities.

The PF was there for one reason, to reverse Wandas multiversal spell. All the ideas and plans the P5 had were of little interest and once their in-fighting made the Force whole again it possessed Hope as planned and she did what it intended, reversed Wandas spell.

Went off on a bit of a tangent there lol.

But yeah, the P5 have access to more power than the opposition, that is without question, but they were poorly performing hosts, they were never meant to have the power, they got it by accident and as such were poorly equipped to wield it. Their performance on panel shows they stand no chance against 2 skyfathers with Thor and co's backing.

Odin and Zeus get the popular vote but I don't like their chances against 1 host with all the power which is what would wind up happening should Odin or Zeus ko the other 4 members. Im going with the abstract against 2 skyfathers. A Dormammu with twice the power couldn't really do any damage to a Phoenix host . Meanwhile that host showed the ability to hurt a amped skyfather just by flaring up.

The heralds on this list get one shot, don't even know why they're here.

I agree with GalacticStorm personally.

The Phoenix Force is more primal a power yet the recent hosts weren't capable of harnessing the energies properly enough to defeat Team 2 going all out.

For they focused on Earth problems for that was all they knew. And that limited the hosts besides maybe Magik. She harnessed hell-born powers frivolously. Yet she was easily swayed into defeat by Spiderman of all people so this fight goes to Team 2.

When the fight factors down to Cyclops as the last man standing in the team during the battle I have no idea how it will turn out.
