The setting is planet Primus, from the New Adventures of He Man show, that followed the 1980's toon and completely redesigned the He Man line. Skeletor, in his crystal empowered state, looks across time and space and finds Lion O in the 2011 toon losing fan battles to 2002 He Man and 1980's He Man. So he summons Lion O to his floating skull planet, and promises his version of He Man is someone even he could beat.

Seriously, am I the only one who even knows this show exists?

Skeletor was pretty entertaining, because he was such a wiseass.

Everything else was just awful though. Those "comic relief" scientists especially made you want to toss your tv out the window any time they spoke.

In the New Adventures, the strength of He-Man appears to be considerably lower, but his skill set is expanded to include Jedi-like abilities, and his sword can fire mystical bolts and form energy constructs.

Never watched this version of He-Man, but 80's He-Man destroys Lion-O.
