Yes, weakest or lowest level characters.

Nimrod? Hmm... good choice since most of this stuff won't affect machines. I was thinking more along the lines of living beings though!

OK, but see the Nimrod comments above. I'd like to stick to living beings because yes, robotic machine types are probably not affected. I was going to put a technopathy group in here but then I didn't want to mix all that in.

That being said, Hammond Human Torch is NOT getting through even the separate attack scenario - Lady Lotus alone was able to hypnotize and control him in Invaders. She was quite powerful, she even won a hypnotism faceoff against vampire Baron Blood and was able to control him, when he thought only Dracula could do that.

She controlled an ANDROID?! Was it ever explained how this was accomplished?

No, she hypnotized him into believing she loved him, and even told him that she knew he was an android. Then she made him fight the other Invaders. She just had very powerful hypnotic powers from using some special lotus plant.
