I know but the argument would be that Thanos has used the IG succesfully against greater competition. The MU has a much more diverse cast of Cosmic and skyfather characters than Valiant.

The IG surpassed the very concepts of the universe, IDK if Solar has faced beings like that.

Key words, IG trumped "universal concepts". These space gods/skyfathers are insignificant to someone that builds up, and tears down a Multiverse on the whim.
