There comes a time when franchises have been around for so long, their creators believe it's time to refresh and begin anew by pushing the restart button for better or worse. Spider-Man from the Amazing film that received a videogame followup versus New Dante from the Devil May Cry reboot.
So as you can guess, the Andrew Garfield version is allowed feats from not just the movie but from the game since it ties in with it. Dante is allowed his sword Rebellion, his guns Ebony & Ivory, his angelic scythe Osiris, demonic axe Arbiter and the flaming gauntlets Eryx. Only thing he can't use is his Devil Trigger.
Fight takes place in a parking lot.
