Comic Thor pwns, movie Thor gets absolutely destroyed.

KingD19
Comic Thor probably loses too considering how hard he's been jobbing in comics lately.

Impediment
Thor 2 and 3 are the same character. Hancock whoops both.

Comic 616 Thor destroys Hancock.

BruceSkywalker
comic book thor beats the shit out of hancock

hancock beats movie thor

Newjak
How well do you think a Jottenhiem Buster would effect Hancock?

Either way comic Thor destroys Hancock.

Movie Thor loses pretty convincingly unless you feel like his more powerful attacks can do some damage.

CosmicComet
Comic Thor would have a hard time touching Hancock.

The dude carved out a giant emblem on the moon faster than people could apparently notice the change.

Movie Thor gets ko'd with the quickness.

Nephthys
Hasn't Thor tagged and beaten speedsters plenty of times? Just off the top of my head he told Quicksilver to stfu when he was trying to blitz him.

CosmicComet
Tagging speedsters does not mean you are equal in speed to them. It just requires a suspension of disbelief, as well as jobbing on the speedster's part.

Thor is slow enough for the likes of Wolverine and Spiderman and other high end streets to be consistently be shown as faster than him.

Quicksilver casually evaded Thor and taunted his speed, it was easy for him. He told Thor's he's been dodging lightning since he was a teen, and then Thor all of a sudden hits the ground and a small quake trips Quicksilver down. What is that? Simple PIS. Seeing as lightning is a lot faster than the shockwaves of a quake.

Thor is pretty fast, no doubt, he has been shown capable of blocking bullets with Mjolnir--but that's no better than high end street levelers--but could he do something like rebuild entire cities in seconds? Absolutely not. If he can't come close to replicating a speed feat like that, then he can't touch a speedster who can do that.

Having reflexes on par with someone obviously suggests that you can do similar things to them as far as speed goes.

Nephthys
I wasn't suggesting it did make him as fast as them, only that Thor has demonstrated that he can handle and defeat extremely fast characters, leading to doubts that speed alone would would be his undoing. Whats to stop Thor from spamming lightning bolts? Hancock isn't that fast.

KingD19
Hancock was fast enough to fly out of a bank(disappearing), fly up above buildings, loop around, and fly back through, taking a bad guy with him, and they also disappeared. He did that about 3 times, going so fast that all he left was a gust of wind in his wake.

And Hancock can handle Mary's lightning fine, and go back at Thor with tornadoes of his own.

You cannot have the reflexes to hit an aware person without having at least similar speed to them, fundamentally.

If Thor could theoretically land a punch on Quicksilver, that would mean his arm moves fast enough to compete with Quicksilver's reaction time.

Thor could never, ever come close to Quicksilver's ability to run across from one coast of the US to the other in around a minute or so.

He simply cannot move his body that fast. Since he cannot, his body's speed could never--without PIS/CIS etc--allow him to punch Quicksilver, because Quicksilver's mental speed matches his physical speed, and Thor's physical speed is not fast enough to cause QS's mental speed any concern.

Thor would take time to spam lightning, lightning being mach 300ish on average or so, that's not anything Hancock can't react to.

That's what I thought and have argued too in other Hancock threads, but upon closer inspection, Hancock painted that giant red heart on the moon in apparently half a day or so.

Which is still a supreme feat of speed and PIS, cos he's not shown that level of super-speed anywhere else. Though it could be argued he's faster in a near vacuum environment?

CosmicComet
Half a day?

Hmm. Will watch again.
