Ascendancy
Film version of the Cap. The Lord Marshall has become bored during his conquest of the Universe. He learns of the Captain and transports him so that he may face him in combat in the throne room where he eventually faces Riddick.

Who wins?

Shield didn't reflect impact like it should've had in the movie.
It seems Caps enhanced strength really aided in the shield's ability to reflect damage.

Regardless....Riddick could barely keep up with Marshall's teleportation strikes.
Which consisted of him moving to one area whilst observing what he should do next then warping to that area whilst hitting it. Rinsing and repeating.

Cap has no knowledge of his opponent yet Marshall as per OP seems to have a general idea of Cap's abilities.

Cap showed incredible foresight when fighting the Chitauri warriors. Blocking beam strikes and leaping strikes before they happened. Removing limbs and smashing them unconscious before they could hurt him. Not to say he didn't have his moments where he could avoid all damage. But those moments seemed to happen when alot was going on.

Marshall is one opponent. And regardless of Cap's precognitive ability to block strikes from enemies, Marshall can always warp out of harms way.
Cap needs to hit two places at the same time if he wants to stand a chance!!!!

If Cap has a gun he can do it. Otherwise he will continue to get knocked around.

Marshall wins this 8/10 if Cap has only his shield.
That difference lowers if Cap has a gun.

Ascendancy
Assumption is only melee weapons available from the surrounding throne room and necromongers. No guns or necro pulse rifles.

the ninjak
Cap still liked his guns in Cap 1.
