Clovie
it was from the 80s or 90s.
it was for children
it was about some girls living in an orphanage, and they were wearing very ugly cloths, and heavy boots.
and later there was new headmaster? or they got adopted? and due to that they were given new shoes, which was nice and beautiful
and later they were to go somewhere in those new shoes. and there was heavy snow, and they've regreted not heaving that first ugly boots.

Doesn ANYONE have any idea what could it be?

I know the forum is Off Topic but the 'Movie' forums would be a better place for this question.

Clovie
but here comes the biggest number of people.. erm

ThorinWoofer
Actually the movie section sees more action.

Clovie
jeeez.. so move it. I just want to know the title. and seraiously I couldn't care less which forum it's in. I could have as well put in into religion. messed

Scarlet Fox
We cant move it. Not moderator. And I am sure if you put it into religion they would ignore it. The reason for putting it in the correct area is because people who WANT to talk about movies talk in that area. Off Topic is more random and WTF topics.

ScreamPaste
I found the movie you were asking about. mmm

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0274518/

I am trying to help. If you put your question into the Movies Forum you might get an answer faster.

Clovie
ok, I guess it should get into movie trivia. last post there was made on jan the 30th. almost a week ago.

^Directing your question to the place it's most likely to be answered: Helpful.

^Demonstrating why not to ask in Off Topic: Not really helpful, but **** it.

Seven Samurai...Citizen Kane...Back to the Future...Star Wars...- no I take that one back. I'm gonna hold on to that one.

Scarlet Fox

Is that it?

Clovie
naa... it should be older. and it was taking place in europe or USA..
and it could be during some war.. and that part with going through snows could be alps blink

yes, Marius. Star Wars. huh

Scarlet Fox
Everytime I search I get either 'Shoes for Orphan Souls' which is a Charity that started in Russia and was adopted in USA... or 'Count Olaf' from Series of Unfortunate Events.

Clovie
If it was possible to get it from google I wouldn't be asking... and my real life friends don't know either. actually, one did remember the movie, but only in the same part as me. that thing with having wrong shoes was traumatic.
I was a little child back then.

Here, maybe it's one of these 300 http://www.moviecus.com/movie_search/orphans/relevance/1

Clovie
it's not there... and neither on keyword "snow"

and I think that this movie could've been made even earlier...
50-60s maybe? messed
