Which two would you rather have? Which two are more powerful?

WhiteWitchKing
The Infinity Gauntlet is basically the Warlogog and ALE combined. The SB and IG is the better choice.

Galan007
Love the IG, but for all it's power it can still be taken/removed from its user. The 'gog and ALE cannot be removed nearly as easily, and they'd give me the same level of power as the IG-- I'd pick them.

psycho gundam
thanos was a special case, but warlock with the ig was second to few

When was it taken aside from when Thanos subconsciously allowed it? You can pretty much will it to become apart of you if you wanted it so.

Galan007
Surfer literally blasted it off Runes hand.

So, the Worlogog=IG?

So, the Worlogog=IG? Not only was it stated that Extant /w/ 'gog was omniscient and omnipotent, but he also created a universe from scratch-- and in this universe he manifested sentient life as well. That feat alone implies mastery over the exact same aspects as the IG... And keep in mind, Extant accomplished the aforementioned with an incomplete 'gog.

Come on now, you can't use that as a reference knowing the Gems were sentient
and using Rune as a pawn to get to the Ultraverse to find the Ego Gem.

Rune was depicted as losing control before getting zapped by Surfer.

Me:
Surfer literally blasted it off Runes hand.

I merely answered his question. smile

There was also the whole Nebula affair.

ozz81
doesnt it also depend on how strong the user/wielder is etc re: gems, if the person week spirited/mind some gems or IG reject the wielder etc..

Mr Master
@Galan

Remember though,
Nebula was mentally weak (because of the state she was in prior to acquiring the IG)
that even Strange got past her awareness,
this is how the plot was used to have Warlock do his thing.

Something Starlin clearly had Thanos stating had it been him,
that would never have worked.

Not really:

erm

Wow, I guess it all depends on the being who wears it! Interesting. If we was allowed to be like Adam or Thanos I'd probably want the IG, but if not I'd take the Warlogog and the ALE. smile

Sundipped
The gauntlet can deflect massively amped beams from Strange which were way more powerful than that blast from Surfer. Nebula charged (gauntlet first) through a merged beam from like 8 abstract beings .Barring some kind of distraction, it should be indestructible.

^ The gems can also be tampered with from within-- Warlock did this to Nebula from inside the soul gem iirc, forcing the IG to freak out and fall from her hand.

Any instances where the IG has been removed from its user are circumstantial, not denying that-- but they still happened. The 'gog and ALE, however, literally fuse with their user, making them much more difficult to muck with. Dats all meesa sayin'. smile

Isn't that all PIS though? If you wield the IG, you ought to be able to make it unremovable with your newfound omnipotence.

Galan007
It'd only be PIS if it has been shown to be irremovable in the past. Has it been?

That's another stipulation. Warlock having been with the Soul Gem for so long,
was intrinsically connected to it even if it was not on his person.
(against the vulnerable Nebula, he was able to exploit this plot)

Same goes with Grandmaster withstanding the Mind Gem's affect
when Loki tried to use it on him.

I would say, barring stipulations, it can't be done.
